Definition

A monolithic block that usually has a large-format. It is a thermally insulating masonry unit, designed for single-layer, load-bearing wall construction without the need for additional external insulation. Its hollow core structure and optional mineral infill (e.g. perlite or mineral wool) provide excellent thermal performance within a monolithic wall system.
